A man alleged to be Fulani has been beaten by residents of Oluwatuyi in Akure, Ondo State for allegedly raping a lady in the area.

After raping the lady, the suspect reportedly made attempts to gouge out her eyes.

The disturbing development was revealed in viral-video footage shared by a Nigerian lawyer and political activist Esq. Cole.

The suspect could be seen on his kneels as residents expressed their fear and sadness after confirming that the man is a Fulani man. The victim could as well be seen lifeless and naked with bloodstains beside her alleged attacker.

The incident happened on Tuesday, Feb 2, 2021.
