My wife is cheating on me with another man. That’s why I needed someone to talk to.
She has been cheating on me for 4 years and nine months sir.
I don’t want my children to have a step mum. That’s why I still keep her in the house. But I can’t eat nor sleep sir.

Dear Uche, Are you sure she’s really cheating on you? However, if you have strong evidence or proof that she’s cheating on you, call her and have a frank discussion with her. Tell her how seriously her cheating is affecting you, and that you’re only keeping her or maintaining the marriage for the sake of your children.
Tell her that you’re willing to forgive her if she decides to change and see her reaction. However, if she still refuses to change after that, report her to her parents/family and call a family meeting of both yours and hers, so that both families can help to settle the issues affecting your marriage.
However, you too need to examine your conscience and find out if you’re the cause of the problem. Find out if there’s anything you’re doing or failing to do that’s making her seek love/comfort elsewhere.
Try your best to sincerely reconcile with your wife and permanently settle all issues or disputes threatening the peace and harmony in your marriage. If your wife isn’t happy in the marriage, find out what’s affecting her happiness and resolve it, so that you too can be happy, because your happiness is also at stake.
Also consider seeing a Marriage Counselor and/or a Priest/Spiritual Director to intervene and help you and your partner to restore the peace and happiness in your marriage, for the sake of your children. God bless you.
